Terms of Service

1. About Us

The Wellness Space is a trading name of Sprocket UX Limited, a company registered in England and Wales (registered address: Jubilee House, East Beach, Lytham St. Annes, FY8 5FT).

2. Services

The Wellness Space offers group fitness and wellness classes including (but not limited to): Pilates, Reformer Pilates, Yoga, Barre, Sculpt and Strength, Sound Baths, Candlelit Yoga, Meditation, and Workshops. Classes are held at our studio in Brimstage, Wirral.

3. Bookings and Cancellations

Booking
  • Classes are booked through our booking system (Glofox), website, or member app.

  • Bookings are confirmed when you receive a confirmation notification.

  • Class sizes are limited. We recommend booking in advance to secure your place.

Cancellations
  • You may cancel a booking up to 4 hours before the class start time without penalty.

  • Late cancellations (within 4 hours of class start) or no-shows may be subject to a late cancellation fee or strike, as outlined in our booking policy.

  • The Wellness Space reserves the right to cancel a class due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g. instructor illness, insufficient numbers). In such cases, you will be notified as soon as possible and any payment for that class will be credited or refunded.

Waitlist
  • If a class is full, you may join the waitlist. You will be automatically booked in if a space becomes available and will be notified accordingly.

4. Memberships and Payments

Pricing
  • Class prices and membership rates are displayed on our website and booking system. All prices are in GBP (£) and inclusive of VAT where applicable.

  • Drop-in classes are available at £12 per session unless otherwise stated.

Memberships
  • Membership terms (duration, included classes, payment frequency) are specified at the point of purchase.

  • Recurring memberships will auto-renew unless cancelled before the next billing date.

  • To cancel a membership, please contact us at studio@thewellnessspace.uk or through the member app. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.

Payments
  • Payments are processed securely through our payment provider. We accept major credit and debit cards.

  • Failed payments will be retried automatically. If payment continues to fail, your membership may be suspended until the outstanding balance is settled.

Refunds
  • Refunds are considered on a case-by-case basis. Please contact us at studio@thewellnessspace.uk.

  • Class packs and memberships are generally non-refundable once used, except where required by consumer protection law.

5. Health and Safety

Your Responsibility
  • You are responsible for ensuring you are physically fit to participate in classes. If you have any medical conditions, injuries, or concerns, you must inform your instructor before the class.

  • You participate in all classes at your own risk. If you are unsure whether a class is suitable for you, please consult your GP before attending.

  • You must follow all instructor guidance and safety instructions during classes.

Our Responsibility
  • Our instructors are qualified and insured professionals who will take reasonable care to ensure your safety.

  • We maintain appropriate public liability insurance for our studio and activities.

  • We reserve the right to refuse participation if we reasonably believe it would be unsafe for you or others.

Health Questionnaire
  • New members may be required to complete a health questionnaire or waiver (e-agreement) before attending their first class.

6. Studio Etiquette

  • Please arrive at least 5 minutes before your class start time. Late arrivals may not be admitted.

  • Mobile phones must be switched to silent mode during classes.

  • Please bring your own water bottle. Mats and equipment are provided unless otherwise stated.

  • Please respect other members, instructors, and studio property.

  • The Wellness Space is a welcoming and inclusive environment. Discrimination, harassment, or abusive behaviour of any kind will not be tolerated.

7. Personal Belongings

The Wellness Space does not accept liability for loss, theft, or damage to personal belongings brought to the studio. Please keep valuables with you.

8. Intellectual Property

All content on our website, app, and marketing materials (including text, images, logos, and branding) is owned by Sprocket UX Limited or its licensors and is protected by copyright. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use this content without our written permission.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

  • The Wellness Space shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from your use of our services.

  • Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the amount you have paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

  • Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on our website. Continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

11. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
